I'm Freya, a passionate, self-taught photographer in Newcastle, NSW.

I'm predominantly a lifestyle photographer, and I specialise in family, maternity and newborn photography. I shoot at various outdoor locations around Newcastle, or in my client's own homes.

My clients also have access to my extensive client wardrobe, which includes beautiful gowns and robes in a range of colours to suit any body size/shape, dozens of gorgeous handmade items for babies, a beautiful assortment of children's clothing for boys and girls, and nice shirts and jumpers for men in a variety of sizes.

I love the way a photograph captures a special moment in time, and the way it can help you re-live the joy, excitement, wonder and beauty of those moments whenever you feel like it. I strive to capture those beautiful moments, and pride myself on my ability to make even the most awkward person feel comfortable in front of the camera!

The gleam in a child’s eye when they tell you about something that excites them, the look on a person’s face when they gaze on someone they love, the connection between kindred spirits, the sense of joy and peace that emanates from an expecting mother, and the tiny details of a newborn baby that change so quickly in those first few weeks - these are the moments that I want to help you preserve, to treasure for years to come.
